The third and final road course race of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season is the third race of the four-round, 10 race playoffs. This race, the Bank of America Roval 400, is the 29th race on the 36-race schedule.

A total of 40 drivers are set to compete in this race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway roval, marking the seventh race of the season to feature a full field and the first road course race to do so.

The Bank of America Roval 400 is just the second ever Cup Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway roval, as the playoff race at Charlotte Motor Speedway was moved to this track from the track’s oval ahead of last season.
