NASCAR Cup Series: 2019 Hollywood Casino 400 entry list

The field is set to be full with 40 drivers in the Hollywood Casino 400, the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race at Kansas Speedway, this Sunday.

The Hollywood Casino 400 is the 32nd of 36 races on the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, and it is the sixth of 10 races on the four-round playoff schedule. It is the third and final race of the three-race round of 12, the second round of the playoffs, and will eliminate four of the remaining 12 playoff drivers from championship contention.

A total of 40 drivers, including 33 full-time drivers and seven part-time drivers, are set to compete in this 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Kansas Speedway oval in Kansas City, Kansas.

Of these 33 full-time drivers who are set to compete in this race, 31 are eligible to score Cup Series points and have competed in each of the season’s first 31 races while two, StarCom Racing’s Landon Cassill and Premium Motorsports’ Ross Chastain, are not eligible to score Cup Series points.

Cassill has competed in each of the season’s first 31 races while Chastain missed the June race at Michigan International Speedway.

Of the seven part-time drivers who are set to compete in this race, six have been confirmed, of whom three are set to drive for chartered teams and three are set to drive for non-chartered teams.

The three part-time drivers who are set to drive for chartered teams in this race are Petty Ware Racing’s J.J. Yeley, Rick Ware Racing’s Austin Theriault and Spire Motorsports’ Reed Sorenson while the three part-time drivers who have been confirmed at non-chartered teams for this race are Rick Ware Racing’s Josh Bilicki, MBM Motorsports’ Timmy Hill and Gaunt Brothers Racing’s Parker Kligerman.

The unconfirmed part-time driver who is set to compete in this race is set to drive for a non-chartered team. Whoever that driver ends up being will drive the #27 Premium Motorsports Chevrolet.
