Just two round of 8 races remain before the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in just a few weeks, and the first of these two races, the AAA Texas 500, is scheduled to take place at Texas Motor Speedway this Sunday, November 3.

Texas Motor Speedway hosted a Cup Series race back in late March, which was won by Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin, one of the three drivers currently above the Championship 4 cut line who have not yet locked themselves into the Championship 4.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Martin Truex Jr. locked himself into the Championship 4 for the third consecutive season and the fourth time in the last five years by winning the round of 8 opener at Martinsville Speedway this past Sunday.
