Valtteri Bottas took his second pole position of the 2020 Formula 1 season and his first since the season opener for the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit.

After winning from the pole position in each of the last three Formula 1 races, Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton was unable to beat teammate Valtteri Bottas for a fourth consecutive pole position, as Bottas took the pole position for the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit.

Race polesitters have won each of the first four races of the 2020 season. Hamilton led each of the 52 laps around the 18-turn, 3.661-mile (5.892-kilometer) Silverstone Circuit road course in Silverstone, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom last week from the pole.
