Formula 1: Barcelona starting lineup – Lewis Hamilton takes pole
By Asher Fair
Lewis Hamilton took his fourth pole position of the 2020 Formula 1 season for the Spanish Grand Prix at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
For the fourth time through the first six races of the 2020 Formula 1 season, Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton took the pole position, this time for the Spanish Grand Prix at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Hamilton took just five pole positions throughout the entire 21-race 2019 season. He has not been held without a pole in consecutive races yet this year.
Hamilton took the pole position for this 66-lap race around the 16-turn, 2.892-mile (4.654-kilometer) road course in Montmelo, Catalonia, Spain by recording a top lap time of 75.584 seconds (137.743 miles per hour) in the third and final round of qualifying.
