Natalie Decker is set to return to NASCAR on some level for the 2021 season, but nothing beyond that has been revealed at this time.

Up until this week, Natalie Decker had been hopeful but still did not have a deal to return to NASCAR for the 2021 season. However, that has changed, and she is officially set to be back.

However, beyond that, nothing is known about what the 23-year-old Eagle River, Wisconsin native’s plans are within the sport throughout the upcoming season.

She indicated on Twitter that a deal had been signed, but she did not reveal any details about the agreement — no series, no team, no anything. She simply noted that all the details about the matter would be “coming soon”.

In fact, she went as far as completely blurring out the signed documents from top to bottom in the three pictures she posted.

More from NASCAR

Decker is coming off of two consecutive part-time seasons in the Truck Series, including a 19-race effort in the 2019 season behind the wheel of the #54 Toyota for DGR-Crosley and a 13-race effort in the 2020 season behind the wheel of the #44 Chevrolet for Niece Motorsports.

She finished in a career-high fifth place at Daytona International Speedway last February, the highest finish ever for a female driver in the Truck Series. She has recorded eight other top 20 finishes, albeit no other finishes inside the top 10, throughout her career. Her average finish is 23.8.

She has never competed in any Xfinity Series or Cup Series races, but multiple fans pointed out that the blurred logo at the top of the papers appears to be an MBM Motorsports logo. They field cars in both series.

The 2021 season is scheduled to get underway on the second weekend in February at Daytona International Speedway.
