NASCAR: Kyle Busch unveils special new paint scheme for Las Vegas
By Asher Fair
Kyle Busch will be getting an all-new look for this Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at his home track of Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Kyle Busch getting new NASCAR Cup Series paint schemes from Mars Wrigley is nothing new, but more often than not, those new paint schemes are new M&M’s schemes.
This time, however, that is not the case.
At his home track of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver is set to pilot a brand new #18 Ethel M Chocolates Toyota in this Sunday afternoon’s Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube.
Take a look at the paint scheme Busch is set to run in this 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) oval in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ethel M Chocolates is the craft chocolate division of Mars Wrigley and is based in Henderson, Nevada, which led to the hometown pair teaming up for this weekend’s race in celebration of their 40th anniversary of making hand crafted chocolates in the desert. The premium chocolatier had never previously appeared across NASCAR’s top three series.
To further commemorate this 40th anniversary, Ethel M Chocolates also announced a donation of 40,000 meals to Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas. They will use their involvement in this Sunday’s race to help those in the Las Vegas community who are in need.
The brand is also inviting fans to visit the car on Saturday, March 6. It will be on display outside of the Flagship Store and Cactus Garden in Henderson, where fans will be allowed to take photos of and with the car. Reservations can be made at Ethelm.com/nascar and are completely free to make.
Here is what Busch had to say about the special partnership in a release.
"“I always love coming home to race and am honored to have another Vegas native featured on the car this weekend. When I was a kid, my grandma used to bring me out to the Ethel M factory and Cactus Garden, and it was one of my favorite places to visit in Vegas. Even during a difficult time, we’re glad to bring a better moment to fans by giving them a chance to connect with the new car in a safe way.”"
Here is what Mars Wrigley Sponsorships vice president William Clements had to say about the matter.
"“We’re so excited to honor the Ethel M legacy by kicking off 40th anniversary celebrations in our own backyard alongside fellow Las Vegas legend, Kyle Busch, during this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race. More importantly, we’re honored to be able to give back to those who need it most through a donation to the Three Square Food Bank, who do fantastic work across our community.”"
Tune in to Fox at 3:30 p.m. ET this Sunday, March 7 for the live broadcast of the Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube from Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
