Ryan Blaney is set for all three NASCAR races at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend, but he will do two from somewhere other than the driver’s seat.

The sixth race weekend of the 2021 NASCAR season is upon us, and it is the fourth during which all three of the national series, the Cup Series, the Xfinity Series and the Truck Series, are set to be in action.

Atlanta Motor Speedway is set to host the Fr8Auctions 200 Truck Series race this afternoon, followed by the EchoPark 250 Xfinity Series race this evening and then the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Cup Series race tomorrow afternoon.

Ryan Blaney, who competes full-time behind the wheel of the #12 Ford for Team Penske in the Cup Series is set to do all three.

However, he will only be behind the wheel for one, that being the Cup Series race.

He attempted to fool fans with this tweet, but most caught on to what he was saying.

That is because the 27-year-old is slated to be the driver analyst for Fox Sports 1 for both the 130-lap Truck Series race and the 163-lap Xfinity Series race around the four-turn, 1.54-mile (2.478-kilometer) oval in Hampton, Georgia.

He is set to put on his helmet and driver suit and compete in Sunday’s 325-lap Cup Series race in an attempt to secure his first win since last June when he won at Talladega Superspeedway.

He will not be making his first Xfinity Series start since he competed at Darlington Raceway in August 2019, nor will he be making his first Truck Series start since he competed at Texas Motor Speedway in November 2015.

If fans didn’t catch on, they were informed of Blaney’s plans shortly thereafter.

Richard Childress Racing Cup Series driver Tyler Reddick is set to join Blaney for the Xfinity Series event.
