NASCAR: Who won the last Nashville race?

NASCAR hasn’t visited Nashville Superspeedway since 2011, and the Cup Series hasn’t ever raced at the track. Who won the most recent races there?

Among the many new additions to the 2021 NASCAR schedule is Nashville Superspeedway, which last hosted a NASCAR race back in 2011 when it hosted both the Truck Series and the Xfinity Series twice.

It has never hosted a Cup Series race, but that is set to change this weekend.

The four-turn, 1.333-mile (2.145-kilometer) oval in Lebanon, Tennessee is set to host all three of the NASCAR national series this weekend, beginning this evening with the Truck Series.

The Truck Series race, the Rackley Roofing 200, is set to be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Then the Xfinity Series race, the Tennessee Lottery 250, is scheduled to take place tomorrow. It is set to be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET. Finally, the Cup Series race, the Ally 400, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 20. It is set to be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Prior to this weekend, there have been 34 NASCAR national series races contested at the track: 13 Truck Series races and 21 Xfinity Series races.

The track hosted the Truck Series from 2001 to 2011. It hosted one race each year from 2001 to 2009 and two races in both 2010 and 2011. After Kyle Busch won in April 2011, Austin Dillon won what is the most recent Truck Series race there that July.

The track hosted the Xfinity Series from 2001 to 2011, with one race in 2001 and two races each year from 2002 to 2011. Carl Edwards won both Xfinity Series races there in 2011, including the most recent NASCAR race of any kind at the track back in July 2011.
