The starting lineup for the French Grand Prix at Circuit Paul Ricard is set after Formula 1 saw yet another intense qualifying session.

Another exciting Formula 1 qualifying session saw Red Bull’s Max Verstappen take his second pole position of the 2021 season, and he did it at a track where Mercedes had been dominant in recent years: Circuit Paul Ricard.

Verstappen took the pole position for Sunday’s 53-lap French Grand Prix around the 15-turn, 3.63-mile (5.842-kilometer) road course in Le Castellet, France by recording a top lap time of 89.990 seconds (145.216 miles per hour) in the third and final round of qualifying.
