Keep tabs on qualifying for the 107th running of the Indy 500 throughout the weekend by following along with our live updates after each run.

Indy 500 qualifying is scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday to set the starting lineup for the 107th running of the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Each of the 34 drivers on the entry list for the 200-lap race plan to make a four-lap qualifying attempt around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Speedway, Indiana oval on Saturday.

Unlimited attempts are allowed for each driver throughout the day, though jumping to the front of the line via the priority lane means that all previous times must be withdrawn.

The qualifying order for Saturday’s qualifying session was determined by a random draw on Friday evening. The fastest 12 drivers in this session advance to the Top 12 session on Sunday afternoon, and the fastest six drivers in that session advance to the Firestone Fast Six shootout for the pole position later in the afternoon.

The drivers who finish Saturday’s session from 13th through 30th place are locked into their starting positions and will not requalify on Sunday, but those who finish from 31st through 34th must qualify via the Last Chance round on Sunday afternoon. The slowest of four drivers in this session won’t get to be a part of the field of 33.

Follow along with our live qualifying updates for the 107th running of the Indy 500.
