Wednesday night's single-car Daytona 500 qualifying session (full results here) set the front row for Sunday's 68th running of the "Great American Race" at Daytona International Speedway, and it also solidified the starting lineups for Thursday night's two America 250 Florida Duel races.
These two 60-lap races around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) high-banked Daytona Beach, Florida oval are set to determine the full 41-car starting lineup for Sunday's 200-lap main event.
Additionally, two of the drivers of non-chartered (open) cars locked themselves into the Daytona 500 field on Wednesday night, and two more are set to do so on Thursday night, meaning that four will ultimately fail to qualify.
The Duel races are not among the 36 official races on the Cup Series calendar, but points are still awarded in each.
Similiar to stage racing, the top 10 finishers are set to score points in each of the two Duel races, with 10 points going to the winner, down to one point to the 10th place finisher.
Follow along with our America 250 Florida Duel updates from Daytona International Speedway.
