Corey Heim has only competed in two of the first four races of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, both for Tricon Garage, the team with which he won the 2025 championship with a dominant 12-win season.
Yet he's eighth in the point standings, given the fact that he finished fifth in the season's second race at EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta Motor Speedway) and won the season's fourth and most recent race at Darlington Raceway.
Heim drove the No. 1 Toyota at Atlanta, and he drove the No. 5 Toyota at Darlington. He is set to compete in this Friday afternoon's race at Rockingham Speedway, but he is set to be back behind the wheel of the No. 1 truck.
Corey Heim replacement confirmed for Rockingham race
Behind the wheel of the No. 5 truck this weekend is set to be Adam Andretti. Andretti is the younger brother of the late John Andretti, the nephew of Mario Andretti, and a cousin to Michael Andretti and Jeff Andretti. He made his Truck Series debut earlier this season at Atlanta.
He finished 12th in his series debut behind the wheel of the No. 5 Toyota, and he ran that truck again in the series' inaugural street course race in St. Petersburg, Florida. He finished that race in 23rd.
Tricon Garage do not currently have any plans to run the No. 1 entry or the No. 5 entry in next weekend's race at Bristol Motor Speedway, although that remains subject to change, as both have been fielded by the team, alongside their three full-time trucks, during every race weekend so far in 2026.
Heim is expected to add more Truck Series races to his calendar as the season progresses. Andretti is also currently lined up to run the race at Watkins Glen International in May and the race at the new Coronado Street Course in June.
Fox Sports 1 is set to provide live coverage of the Black's Tire 200 from Rockingham Speedway beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET this Friday, April 3. Start a free trial of FuboTV and don't miss any of the action from "The Rock"!
