While it's now classified as USA Sports' portion of the NASCAR Cup Series broadcast schedule, rather than NBC Sports' portion, since Versant Media, the parent company of USA Sports, split from Comcast and NBC in late 2025, nothing actually changed as far as the TV channels for the races during this part of the season.

The final 14 races (down from 20 under the pre-2025 media agreement) are all shown live on either NBC or USA Network. But since the switch from TNT Sports to USA Sports back in early August at Iowa Speedway, just one of the nine races that have been contested has been shown live on NBC.

And that won't change this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Charlotte playoff race not being shown on NBC

Sunday's 267-lap Bank of America 400, which is set to be the first playoff race at the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Concord, North Carolina oval since 2017, after the track's interior Roval layout hosted one each year from 2018 to 2025, is set to be the season's ninth race shown live on USA Network.

All five playoff races that have been contested so far this season have been shown live on USA, after NBC made its first appearance of the season in the regular season finale at Daytona International Speedway in late August.

Sunday's Charlotte race is the sixth of seven consecutive races on USA Network's schedule to begin the postseason, but after that, NBC is set to take over for the rest of the year.

Next Sunday's race at Phoenix Raceway is set to be the final race of the year shown live on USA Network, with the season's final three races at Talladega Superspeedway, Martinsville Speedway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway all set to be broadcast live on NBC.

The broadcast booth for both NBC and USA Network is the same, with Leigh Diffey as the lead announcer for the third year and analysts Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte together for their 12th.

Tune in to USA Network at 3:00 p.m. ET this afternoon for the live broadcast of the Bank of America 400 from Charlotte Motor Speedway, although do make sure to keep an eye out for weather updates after Saturday's qualifying rainout and the ongoing threat of flooding from Isaias.
