Three of Toni Breidinger's first five appearances during the 2026 NASCAR season, all in the Craftsman Truck Series, resulted in DNQs, including two for Rackley WAR and another one for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing.

But she was able to return for her third start of the year a few weekends ago at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

Breidinger finished 25th behind the wheel of the No. 27 Rackley WAR Chevrolet, but after the series had the following two weekends off, she will not be back in that truck this weekend at Richmond Raceway.

Toni Breidinger replacement confirmed for Richmond

Kasey Kleyn, who made his Truck Series debut at North Wilkesboro Speedway in July, is set to return for this weekend's race at Richmond. The 18-year-old was knocked out of the North Wilkesboro race with a late electrical issue.

Breidinger and Kleyn are both set to spend additional time in the No. 27 Chevrolet beyond this weekend, with Breidinger expected to return for next weekend's race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Kleyn is expected to run at least three more races, but thus far only the October race at Martinsville Speedway has been confirmed on his schedule.

Breidinger is also scheduled to run the October race at Talladega Superspeedway. Additionally, she is scheduled to run the race at Phoenix Raceway one week prior, but in the No. 20 McAnally-Hilgemann Racing Chevrolet, the entry she failed to qualify at Watkins Glen International back in May.

Her top finish in three starts so far this year is 18th at Texas Motor Speedway, which is tied for her best finish in the series since 2023. She ran full-time for Tricon Garage a year ago and placed 18th at Rockingham Speedway.
