IndyCar drivers Alexander Rossi and Conor Daly took on the 30th season of CBS’s The Amazing Race. In what position did they finish?

Two Verizon IndyCar Series drivers took on the race of their lives by partaking in the 30th season of CBS’s The Amazing Race. Those drivers, 2016 Indianapolis 500 champion and 2016 IndyCar Rookie of the Year Alexander Rossi, 26, and Conor Daly, also 26, are now having their experiences aired on the network. Where did they finish?

The 30th season of CBS’s The Amazing Race began airing last Wednesday, January 3rd. The show will continue to air on Wednesday nights on the network at 8:00 pm EST until Wednesday, February 21st. The next episode will be aired tonight.

The show visited a total of 10 countries and 21 cities. In all, over 29,000 miles (47,000 kilometers) were traveled when the 12 legs were filmed from Sunday, October 1st, 2017 to Tuesday, October 24th, 2017. While there are only eight episodes until the show concludes next month, there are several double-length episodes scheduled.

As stated above, Episode 1 of Season 30 aired on Wednesday, January 3rd. The team featuring Rossi and Daly, “Team IndyCar”, finished in 5th place out of the 11 teams in the first leg, and they are one of 10 teams that were not yet eliminated as the second leg approaches. As far as roadblocks go, Daly has had one while Rossi has not yet had any.

As far as Rossi’s IndyCar career goes, he is lined up to drive for Andretti Autosport for a third consecutive season in 2018 in an attempt to improve upon his final position in the championship standings once again. He finished in 11th place in the 2016 season and 7th place in the 2017 season, winning one race in each of his first two seasons in the sport.

As far as Daly’s IndyCar career goes, he does not yet have anything lined up for what would be his third full-time season in the sport. He drove full-time for Dale Coyne Racing in the 2016 season and A.J. Foyt Enterprises in the 2017 season. He finished in 18th place in the championship standings in both seasons.
