Rene Binder’s deal with Juncos Racing has been extended to six races in the 2018 IndyCar season from the initial four-race deal agreed on in January.

Rookie Rene Binder, 26, was confirmed as one of the two drivers of the #32 Chevrolet for Juncos Racing throughout the 2018 IndyCar season back in January. He was confirmed as the car’s driver in four races of the 17-race season.

Rookie Kyle Kaiser, 22, was confirmed as the other driver of the #32 Chevrolet for the team for four more races throughout the 2018 season.

Binder was initially scheduled to race in Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, the Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park, the Honda Indy Toronto and the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Binder made his IndyCar debut in the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, but he ended up crashing late in the race and settled for a 22nd place finish as a result of the wreck.

More from IndyCar

As opposed to driving in only four races throughout the 2018 IndyCar season, Binder is now set to drive in six races, meaning he has five more races to compete in before the seasons comes to a close in September as opposed to only three.

In addition to the four races discussed above, Binder is also set to drive in the two Chevrolet Duel in Detroit races. These races make up IndyCar’s lone doubleheader of the season in early June. As far as Binder’s schedule goes, these races are between the Grand Prix of Alabama and the Honda Indy Toronto.

Here is an updated schedule in terms of Binder’s races in the 2018 IndyCar season, which includes the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, a race he already drove in a few weeks ago.
