Eight of the 11 road or street course races on the 2018 IndyCar schedule are in the books. How do the sport’s teams stack up against one another in these races?

Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon earned his second road or street course victory of the 2018 IndyCar season in the season’s eighth road or street course race and the season’s fifth and final street course race.

Dixon’s second victory in a road or street course race this season is also Chip Ganassi Racing’s second victory in a road or street course race this season, as Dixon’s teammate, Ed Jones, has not won a road or street course race yet in 2018.

Dixon also won the first race of the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit on the streets of Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan, so his most recent victory is his second street course victory of the season as well as Chip Ganassi Racing’s second street course victory of the season. Neither of Chip Ganassi Racing’s drivers have been able to win a road course race so far this year.

The four-time IndyCar champion won the 85-lap Honda Indy Toronto around the 11-turn, 1.786-mile (2.874-kilometer) temporary street circuit at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in his #9 Honda to make Chip Ganassi Racing the third team to win multiple road or street course races in 2018.

Three teams have combined to win the other six road or street course races that have been contested so far this season. Those three teams are Team Penske, Andretti Autosport and Dale Coyne Racing. They have won three, two and one road or street course race, respectively, so far in 2018.

As referenced above, there are no more street course races left on the 2018 schedule. Two teams combined to win three street course races that were contested this season and not won by Chip Ganassi Racing. Andretti Autosport finished tied with Chip Ganassi Racing for the most victories in street course races this season with two while Dale Coyne Racing finished with one.
