Follow along with our live qualifying updates for the 2019 Monster Energy Open at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Who will start where in this NASCAR Cup Series exhibition race?

The drivers who are not already locked in to tomorrow night’s $1 million-paying Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race are set to attempt to do so in tomorrow evening’s Monster Energy Open.

A total of 24 drivers are set to compete in this 50-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Charlotte Motor Speedway oval in Concord, North Carolina, and they are set to qualify for it this evening.

These 24 drivers are drivers who have not either won at least one Cup Series race in the 2018 and/or 2019 seasons, won at least one All-Star Race or won at least one Cup Series championship, as the 15 active full-time drivers who fit this criteria have already locked themselves into this year’s All-Star Race.

Three of the 24 drivers who compete in the Open will qualify for the All-Star Race, as the Open is split up into three stages.

The first two stages are 20 laps in length while the third and final stage is 10 laps in length.

The winners of these three stages will advance to the All-Star Race and start in 16th, 17th and 18th place, respectively.

Additionally, the highest finishing driver in the All-Star Fan Vote who does not win a stage of the Open will also qualify for the All-Star Race and will start in 19th place.

Who will take the pole position and who will qualify where throughout the rest of the field for this Saturday evening’s Monster Energy Open at Charlotte Motor Speedway?
