In what order are the six IndyCar drivers who moved to Bump Day qualifying for the 103rd running of the Indy 500 set to re-qualify tomorrow afternoon?

A total of 36 drivers attempted to qualify for the sixth race on the 17-race 2019 IndyCar schedule, the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500, in today’s qualifying session.

The slowest six of these 36 drivers have been moved to tomorrow’s Bump Day qualifying session, where they are set to re-qualify and compete for the three positions on the 11th and final row of the starting grid.

These drivers can start the race in no higher than the inside of the 11th row in 31st place. Three of them will qualify for the race while three of them will fail to do so.

Each of these drivers is set to make another four-lap qualifying attempt around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval in Speedway, Indiana in this Bump Day qualifying session.

The average speeds recorded by these six drivers on their qualifying attempts in Bump Day qualifying session will be their official qualifying speed and will determine where they line up on the 11th row of the starting grid or if they even qualify for the race at all.

Tomorrow’s Bump Day qualifying session for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 is scheduled to take place from 12:15 p.m. ET to 1:15 p.m. ET, and it is set to be broadcast live on NBC from Indianapolis Motor Speedway from 12:00 p.m. ET to to 3:00 p.m. ET. The live broadcast is extended beyond 1:15 p.m. ET as a result of the fact that the Pole Day qualifying session for this race is scheduled to take place after this session from 1:15 p.m. ET to 2:15 p.m. ET.

Bad weather could affect when (or if) these two qualifying sessions take place. That said, the Bump Day qualifying session was given priority over the Pole Day qualifying session in terms of fitting it into the schedule, so it would likely still be held on Monday or Tuesday, whenever the weather permits.
