Follow along with our live qualifying updates for the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway, the 19th of 36 races on the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series schedule.

The second half of the 36-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series is officially scheduled to get underway upon the drop of the green flag in this Saturday evening’s race at Kentucky Speedway, the Quaker State 400.

A total of 36 drivers are set to compete in this race, tying the lowest total on an entry list so far this season.

This race is the only race at Kentucky Speedway on the 2019 schedule. As a result, Kentucky Speedway is one of 10 tracks on the schedule that hosts only one race, and it is the fifth of these 10 tracks so far this season.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

The first four were Atlanta Motor Speedway, Auto Club Speedway, Sonoma Raceway and Chicagoland Speedway and the final five are New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen International, Darlington Raceway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Eight different drivers representing four different teams are set to enter this race having won at least one race so far this season, although one of these drivers is not set to compete in this race, as this driver, Spire Motorsports’ Justin Haley, is only a part-time Cup Series driver; he is a full-time Xfinity Series driver. Spire Motorsports, however, are a full-time Cup Series team, and they are still set to compete in this race with Quin Houff as the driver of the #77 Chevrolet.

Nine different drivers representing five different teams are set to enter this race having taken at least one pole position so far this season, and all nine of them are set to compete in this race. Three of these nine drivers representing three of these five teams have each taken a series-high three pole positions so far in 2019.

Two drivers, the second of whom being Haley, have added their names to the wins list this season in the last two races, and both of them did so by earning their first career victories. Haley won last Sunday’s race at Daytona International Speedway while Hendrick Motorsports’ Alex Bowman won the previous Sunday’s race at Chicagoland Speedway.

Who will take the pole position and who will qualify where throughout the rest of the field for this Saturday night’s 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky?
