The second round of the four-round, 10-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, the round of 12, got underway last Sunday with a victory by Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kyle Larson at Dover International Speedway in the Drydene 400.

The second of three races in this round, the 1000Bulbs.com 500, is scheduled to take place this Sunday, October 13 at Talladega Superspeedway.

A total of 40 drivers are set to attempt to qualify for this race, meaning that the field will be full for the eighth time in 31 races this season.

This race is the second race of the season at Talladega Superspeedway, making this track the ninth of 13 tracks on the schedule to feature two races.

The race at the track that was held in late April also featured a full field of 40 drivers, and it was won by Hendrick Motorsports’ Chase Elliott.

Entering this Sunday afternoon’s race, 12 drivers representing six different teams have won at least one race so far this season, although only nine of these 12 drivers representing five of these six teams are among the 12 round of 12 playoff drivers.

Additionally, 13 drivers representing six different teams have taken at least one pole position so far this season, although only nine of these drivers representing five different teams are among these round of 12 drivers.
