After qualifying for the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 season finale was rained out, here is the starting lineup.

The starting lineup for the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the Ford EcoBoost 400, was set based on the rule book as a result of the fact that qualifying was rained out.

The qualifying session itself was scheduled to take place tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. ET, but because both practice sessions were rained out today, that window is set to feature a practice session itself.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin is set to start from the pole position for this 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Homestead-Miami Speedway oval in Homestead, Florida. He also started this race from the pole position in 2017 and 2018.

Hamlin is one of the four drivers competing in the Championship 4, along with teammates Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch and Stewart-Haas Racing’s Kevin Harvick.

While the starting field from fifth through 40th place was set based on owner points, the starting lineup for these four drivers on the first two races was set based on additional tiebreakers since they are all set to enter the race with 5,000 points.

The tiebreaker was best finish in the round of 8 of the playoffs, which included races at Martinsville Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway and ISM Raceway over the last three weekends. Truex, Harvick and Hamlin won these three races, respectively, while Busch did not win in the round of 8, meaning that he is set to start in fourth place in his #18 Toyota.

The second tiebreaker was second best finish, and that is the tiebreaker that Hamlin won over Harvick and Truex. Hamlin finished in fourth place in the race at Martinsville Speedway, Harvick finished in fifth in the race at ISM Raceway and Truex finished in sixth in the races at Texas Motor Speedway and ISM Raceway.

As a result, Hamlin and Harvick are set to make up the front row in first and second place in their #11 Toyota and #4 Ford, respectively, while Truex is set to start in third in his #19 Toyota.

Team Penske’s Joey Logano is set to be the highest starting non-Championship 4 driver in fifth place in his #22 Ford alongside Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kyle Larson in sixth in his #42 Chevrolet.

Team Penske teammates Ryan Blaney and Brad Keselowski, Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron and Stewart-Haas Racing’s Clint Bowyer are set to round out the top 10 in seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th place in their #12 Ford, #2 Ford, #24 Chevrolet and #14 Ford, respectively.
