Brennan Poole is set to make his NASCAR Cup Series debut driving the #15 Chevrolet full-time for Premium Motorsports in the 2020 season.

The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series driver lineup has been coming together one driver confirmation at a time over the last few months, and Premium Motorsports have now confirmed their lone full-time driver for next year as well.

Brennan Poole is slated to make his Cup Series debut driving the #15 Chevrolet on a full-time basis for the team, replacing Ross Chastain, who is set to compete full-time for Kaulig Racing in the Xfinity Series after competing in 69 of 72 Cup Series races for Premium Motorsports over the last two years.

Poole confirmed this news on Twitter.

Here is what the 28-year-old Sacramento, California native had to say about this opportunity in a press release.

"“I’ve been working towards this moment since I was 5 and feel blessed to have the caliber of people surrounding me that I have in this next chapter of my racing career. I look forward to the opportunity to showcase our sponsor partners, both new and existing, who are supporting me at the highest level of NASCAR competition.”"

Here is what Premium Motorsports team owner Jay Robinson added.

"“I’m very happy to welcome Brennan and his group to the Premium Motorsports family. Brennan is a very talented and dedicated young man, I believe he has a very bright future in the NASCAR Cup Series.”"

Pool lands this ride with Premium Motorsports after spending several seasons competing in the ARCA Menards Series, the Truck Series and the Xfinity Series. He has competed in at least one of these three series on some level since 2011, although he has only driven three full seasons (2012 in ARCA and 2016 and 2017 in Xfinity Series). In 2019, he competed part-time in the Truck Series for On Point Motorsports in finished in a career-high second place at Charlotte Motor Speedway behind Kyle Busch.

His career-high Xfinity Series finish is also second place, with that coming in the 2017 at Kentucky Speedway driving for Chip Ganassi Racing. He is a six-time ARCA race winner.
