Jack Harvey is set to return to Meyer Shank Racing for a second full IndyCar season behind the wheel of the #60 Honda in 2021.

Jack Harvey has competed for Meyer Shank Racing in all but two of his 33 starts since making his IndyCar debut back in the 2017 Indianapolis 500, and he is set to continue competing for the team in 2021.

The 2021 season is set to be Harvey’s fourth season and second full-time season as the driver of the #60 Honda.

After running six races in 2018, he competed in 10 races in 2019 and then ran the full 14-race schedule for the first time in his career in 2020, which was also the team’s first season with a full-time entry.

The 2021 season is also set to be the team’s first with multiple cars, as three-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves is set to compete behind the wheel of the #06 Honda in six of the 17 races on the schedule.

Here is what Harvey had to say about his 2021 return, according to a team release.

"“I’m really excited to build on the progress that we made this year and bring that into 2021. We’ve had so much potential, but had such bad luck in so many of the races this year that I’m just excited to start fresh. I’m confident that next year we can push for some podiums and race wins based off of the pace that we had this year.“Having Helio [Castroneves], he will be a fantastic addition to the team. He’s a three-time Indy 500 winner and he’s a living legend really, so it’s pretty great that I will get to work with him and be teammates with someone who has that level of experience. I see this as a way to strengthen the team. I’m excited to get going again and 2021 cannot come soon enough.”"
