For the first time since the 2014 IndyCar season, Dale Coyne Racing are set to have two full-time drivers driving for the team in the 2019 season.

Shortly after Dale Coyne Racing that four-time Champ Car champion Sebastien Bourdais would be returning to the team as the full-time driver of the #18 Honda in the 2019 IndyCar season, Santino Ferrucci was tipped to sign with the team as the full-time driver of the #19 Honda.

Ferrucci has now officially been confirmed as the team’s second full-time driver, the driver of the #19 Honda, for the 2019 season, meaning that one of IndyCar’s most successful small teams are set to field entries for two full-time drivers in 2019.

Dale Coyne Racing have not fielded entries for two full-time drivers since the 2014 season when they fielded the #18 Honda for Carlos Huertas and the #19 Honda for the late Justin Wilson.
