Following Juncos Racing’s announcement, one unconfirmed IndyCar driver remains for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 later this month.

Following the announcement that Kyle Kaiser is set to drive the #32 Juncos Racing Chevrolet in the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 later this month, just one of the confirmed 36 cars for this year’s running of IndyCar‘s most prestigious race does not yet have a confirmed driver.

The one car on the entry list for this 200-lap race around the four-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval in Speedway, Indiana that does not yet have a confirmed driver is the #77 Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Honda.

Oriol Servia drove the #77 Honda in the open test at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Wednesday, April 24, and he has been speculated as the likely candidate to drive the car in this race for quite some time, but Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports have not yet confirmed this.

More from IndyCar

Servia drove the #77 Honda for the team in the 100th running of the 2016 Indy 500 as well.

With Stefan Wilson and Jay Howard, who was the team’s third driver for the 102nd running of the Indy 500 last year, out of the running, he other primary candidate to drive the #77 Honda in this race is Carlos Munoz, whose average finishing position of 7.50 in the last six Indy 500 races is the best average finishing position in the last six Indy 500 races. However, with every passing day, it seems as though his chances to land this ride dwindle.

Practice for this year’s running of the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, May 14, so expect Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports to confirm who the driver of the #77 Honda will be at the Brickyard within the next week or so at the very longest.

Who will Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports confirm as the driver of the #77 Honda for the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500, and when will they make this confirmation? Qualifying for the race is set to be broadcast live on NBC from Indianapolis Motor Speedway beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET on both Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, and the race itself, which is the sixth of 17 races on the 2019 IndyCar schedule, is set to be broadcast live on NBC beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET on Sunday, May 26.
