Veteran auto racing journalist Bobby Ciafardini joined Beyond the Flag in May 2025. He is an accomplished sportswriter and commentator, who has contributed to the Associated Press, New York Daily News, WFUV Radio, and MSG Network, among others. His radio coverage of the 2024 Indy 500 earned him "Best Live on the Scene" from the New York State Broadcasters Association (NYSBA). More recently, he was named a finalist for "On-Air Presenter of the Year" and "Sportswriter of the Year" from the Society of Professional Motorsports Journalists (SPMJ).
